PureVision (balafilcon A) visibility tinted contact lens is indicated for daily wear or extended wear from 1 to 30 days between removals, for cleaning and disinfection or disposal of the lens, as recommended.

The lens is indicated for the correction of refractive ametropia (myopia and hyperopia) in aphakic and/or not-aphakic persons with non-diseased eyes, exhibiting astigmatism of 2.00 diopters or less, that does not interfere with visual acuity.

PureVision contact lenses, with AerGel technology lens material, are manufactured by the FormCast manufacturing process, cast molding process, and are surface treated by the Performa surface treatment process which transforms hydrophobic silicone to hydrophilic silicate.

This helps deliver: enhanced wettability and deposit resistance without inhibiting oxygen or fluid transport, high oxygen transmissibility for healthy, white eyes and reduced risk of hypoxic stress to help maintain excellent ocular health.
