We accept most insurances and gladly accept and support Vision Service Plan, Medical Eye Services, Medicare and more.

Dr. Amy Lin has been with Vision Dynamics Optometry since 2002. She was actively involved in research at UC Berkeley to ensure the safety of Ortho K, and has successfully fit Ortho-K and specialty contact lens patients over the last 15 years. Dr. Lin’s passion for preventative eyecare began when she was 10 and was working as frame stylist in optical since she was 16. Her work experience includes seeing patients at Hickam Airforce Base, Pacific Eye Associates, and Fresno VA. Her priority is to provide top tier comprehensive health care and preventative children’s vision, where she makes it a priority to incorporate all aspects of your health, visual, and health needs. She has 3 children who attend local schools and in her “free time”, she volunteers to educate the public and mentors pre-health students.
Dr. Sue Ristow was class valedictorian at the Southern California College of Optometry. She is a graduate of Northwestern University and is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Her professional experience includes being a Clinical Research Optometrist with Allergan Optical, a faculty member at her alma mater, and a staff optometrist in a multi-specialty ophthalmology practice in both a clinical setting as well as Lasik Refractive surgery setting. Her diverse experiences have enhanced her areas of interest in cornea and contact lenses. Dr. Ristow has 3 children who attend local schools. She is busy attending youth sporting events and hopes to someday to find time to play her cello.
Dr. StephanieLew completed her optometric training at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis Tennessee and earned her BS in Genetics at UC Davis. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association as well as the local Alameda Contra Costa County Optometry Society. She has experience working in both ophthalmology (general ophthalmology as well as with a glaucoma specialist) and primary eye care private practices. Clinically, she strives to give each of her patients a fun and informative experience while ensuring optimal vision and health. Dr. Lew enjoys the challenge of ocular disease and the satisfaction of successful contact lens fittings. She takes particular pride in answering all her patients’ questions and explaining to them their current ocular health/visual status. Dr. Lew lives in Concord with her husband and cat and spends most of her spare time cooking, shopping, and taking pictures of the cat.


As the Office Manager, I strive to provide the best care to my patients at Vision Dynamics with any individualized needs. When helping patients with choosing frames, I’m able to suggest styles that are both inside and outside of their comfort zone. My goal is to make sure they look good and feel good about their eyewear.
When I am not in the office, I like travel adventures with my husband, my son, and my two Labrador dogs. I love gardening and hiking, as well as enjoying wine and food.



As an Optician at Vision Dynamics, my goal is to give the best individualized service to each patient. Whether I am helping them find the perfect frame, educating them to choose the appropriate type of lens, or assembling the patient’s glasses myself, I aim to go above and beyond to make each of their experiences exceptional
I graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Communication and have a background in event planning in Tucson for many years. In 2012, I had my son and decided to make the Bay Area my home again. At Vision Dynamics, I can help people in my community see, look, and feel their best. I look forward to helping all patients with their vision needs.



As your Optometry Technician, I help prepare patients prior to their eye exam by running eye tests such as retinal imaging, eye pressure, and many more. I also like to help Vision Dynamics patients with trying on frames and adjusting their glasses to make sure they leave feeling confident and seeing clearly.
In my free time, I like go on adventures and spend time with my toddler that I call my Tasmanian devil. I’m also a big make-up enthusiast and enjoy watching tutorials and experimenting with new products and



Hello, I am Diona and I am the Receptionist and the first face our patients usually see when they walk into Vision Dynamics Optometric Center. I take pride in being professional and caring, and I assist our patients in optimizing resources available and explaining vision benefits. I also help our patients with trying on frames after their eye exam. I make sure to adjust and dispense the glasses so that you walk home with the perfect frames.
When not at work, I am spending time with my baby boy who has made me a better me. My favorite brand of glasses frames is Tom Ford. I hope to see you at our Danville location.
